Aidan hurts himself

This week Aidan tripped over the sliding glass door and fell. Poor little guy got his face on the corner and got a nice little scratch on his cute little face. He does not like when I have to clean it poor little guy!!

Brooke got her ears pierced

I told Brooke that when she passed kinder and was going to be a first grader she could get her ears pierced. So the last day of school she was I am done can we go now haha.... so we waited till the weekend and she got them done. She was such a big girl but she did have two tears leak out. She picked pink flowers and she just loves having them done.

Brooke Kinder Graduation

June 16, 2010 Brooke finished Kinder. At her school all the kids sang songs and were achknowledged. Then they had rootbeer floats and signed autograph books. It was really cute and Brooke had a great time.

April 2010

In April we went to Oregon for Spring Break. Brooke got to see her dad Cody, sister Nicole, and grandama Linda. She had such a good time seeing them. We also got to see all our friends while visiting. It was really cold but that is okay. Next time we go it will be in summer so it is nice and warm haha!! On our way home we stopped by and saw Aunt Linda and cousins. It was a great trip. When we got back we started swim lessons on saturdays. Brooke of course loves them... at first she was not going to do it because her teacher was male but know she is good. Aidan is not really happy about the whole thing and cries a lot. But he will get it.

It has been a while since I put anything on here. So lets see what has been going on... We have been just having a good time. Brooke and I went to disneyland with some friends and had the best time. I had a parent teacher conference for Brooke a few weeks ago and she is doing great... well except in listening haha!! She is getting so big and smart. She is doing really good with her reading and her letters. She is doing really good in gymnastics and both kids are going to start swim lessons in a few weeks. Aidan is getting bigger everyday and doing new things... like climbing the stairs and running better. He even can climb up on his chair (at grandma's) all on his own. He likes to swing his feet. He eats everything but veggies haha!! But I sneak them in his food:)

In a few weeks we will be go on our first big vacation to Oregon. We are all excited!!

Big Bear

Grandma, Brooke, Aidan and I went up to Big Bear for the night and half the next day. When we got there the house was covered with snow... it was so pretty.


The next morning we went out and played in the snow. Brooke loved it and Aidan not so much. We did not have any boots that fit him so he wore barbie snow boots there were way to big on him!! Brooke made a small snowman and kept trying to eat the snow!!

Valentine's Day

Sunday was a great day. We went to church and after had lunch with some friends. After we decided to go to Ken and Rachel's and let the kids play and then have sushi for dinner. Ken took a sushi making class a few years ago and makes the best rolls ever!! So Brooke and Cooper were playing outside with the sidewalk chalk having a good time. When Brooke comes in and tells Rachel that her son is doing something he should not be doing. So we go out and look and they have colored the side of their House with chalk. Now Cooper is younger than Brooke and can not do some of the drawings and coloring in like she can. So I asked her did you do this and she lied and said no Cooper did. I told her Cooper can not make people like that yet or color in like that so did she want to change her answer. So she was like well I just wanted to make the house pretty!! Rachel and Ken are the nicest coolest parents and where like it is no big deal and washed it off the house. However Brooke did not get off so easy she got her dessert taken away for a month!! I wish I had my camera and could have taken a picture. She was so cute about it making the house prettier it should not be green but it should be a rainbow. She loves rainbows and colors.

The other day I was playing with Aidans long hair and thought oh lets see how he looks with a ponytail... he was so cute

My Darling Daughter....

I get to daycare yesterday and notice a weird piece of hair coming out of Brooke's braid. I was thinking what is this. So I took the braid out and there is a big chunk of hair that comes with it. So I am looking at her face and her hair has been cut. So I ask her who did this? She kept saying I dont know who did it. She said it was not her and I finally got out of her it was someone in her class. As it turns out she is the one who cut her hair. She said there was a piece that was in her face so she just cut it. I was like you did what!! So being the mean mom I am I told her fine you dont want long hair we can just shave it all off!! She was so upset she was I telling your mom on you and grandma will tell you no you cant it was funny!!

teething....

So why does teething make kids so very grumpy? Aidan is happy then just mad. Poor little guy is getting in a few teeth right now. He does seem to really like to be in his car and go for a walk!! At least he will be happy after that:)

Brooke and her future husband....

Brooke tells me daily about Matthew Landon and how he is going to marry her and how he loves her so much!! It is so funny to hear her talking how he can't wait till they are older so he can kiss her... yep my little girl is already telling me stories like this and she is 5yrs old. I am going to have fun with her when she gets older!!

Thunder and Lighting

Last night we had a big thunder and lighting storm. This morning I asked Brooke if it woke her up... she said "well last night I saw all these rainbows and lights on my blinds and then a loud noise." So I said were you scared...she said no it was pretty but it was really loud. She is so funny!! Aidan of course sleeps through everything.

Last Night...

Last night we were sitting on the floor and Aidan was going up behind Brooke and giving her kisses/ bites (not sure how to explain) thinking it was the funniest thing ever. So he would go up behind her laughing then do his kiss bite thing then crack up laughing again then I would move him and he would hurry over and do it again. It was the funniest thing I had ever seen!!

Rain, Rain, Rain

So it has been raining like crazy here. In front of our door we have sand bags. Our neighbor on the other hand did not get any. So Brooke was like mommy Ryan is going to wash away he has no bags in front of his door to keep the rain out. Only my daughter would come up with something so funny!!
